Bev's Tramping Gear Hire, based in Te Anau, is the place to hire all your tramping/hiking and camping equipment. We can help you out whether you are going on one of New Zealand's great walks for the first time, or need to hire ice axe and crampons for big winter missions.
Bookings
We recommend that you book ahead to hire tramping equipment. To book simply send an email containing a list of what you require (including your sizes) to . Booking is essential for all large orders between November and March.
A non-refundable $50 booking deposit is required per person. This can be paid by sending us your credit card details or you can pay by internet banking. Please note if you wish to pay this booking deposit by credit card we only take mastercard or visa.

Hiring
When hiring equipment we require a deposit such as a passport or a credit card imprint. We can send gear nationwide (NZ), but prefer pickups from our shop in Te Anau to ensure proper fitting. Also you can take gear away and arrange for it to be sent back to our shop. We can safely store your vehicle or gear at no additional cost.
